So this is the first update after a long while of not posting. Tomorrow I will pick up the written part of my final thesis work from the bookbinder.

In Japan i tested my Nishika 4-Lens 3D Camera with a 100 ISO Slide Film. Apparently I got fooled by some ebay lady from who I bought a Nimslo which would have been capable of films upto 400 ISO, but....

The scans are raw, just to check out whether the material works with the Parallax and everything so I composed it using Photoshop and After Effects.

A definite Minus of the process with the Nishika is the scanning + manually cropping and adjusting of the slides. Tomorrow I will scan them using a slot-in Nikon Scanner to avoid that.

Apparently the Nishika, which I also purchased on ebay, leaves some horizontal scratches on the film. You can also see some shadows from the lens corners.

Anyway I think it would be more convenient to use a fast-triggering digicam and keeping one object as Point of Interest at one position in the frame. The postprod and fine adjustment can be done in Photoshop.
