Woo-ha.. a giant project. Involving Architecture and new media. Actually I think, it's a little bit over-crowded. The encoding of the SMS messages I don't really like and that the first message is being sent from the ISS.... I don't know. What's the point about it? It's too bombastic for my taste.. Could have been a german thing though, reminds me of some 3rd reich megalomaniac stuff aswell as of the flak-searching lights in WWII. Guess some old people wouldn't find that one so funny, if you did that in Dresden, Stuttgart or Cologne....

dass ein projekt von drei verschiedenen profs geleitet wird, garantiert noch keine "echte" interdisziplinaritaet. die verschiedenen teile eines solchen projekts koennen wunderbar aneinander vorbeidoktorn.

um mit anderen disziplinen zusammen arbeiten zu koennen, muss man ein ziemlich weitgehendes verstaendnis fuer deren themen und praktiken entwickeln, und IMHO dafuer auch mal selbst etwas in der richtung gemacht haben.

verpflichtende kurse in anderen studiengaengen zu beginn des studiums wuerde ich befuerworten. spaeter sollte sowas hoechstens freiwillig passieren.

echte interdisziplinaritaet ensteht auf studentischer ebene: "ich kenn da nen architekten, mit dem hab ich darueber geredet, und der meint...", "haettst du nicht lust, da mitzubasteln? nen systemer koennten wir gut gebrauchen"

als studierende(r) braucht man lediglich die gewissheit, dass einem ein engagement in anderen fachbereichen auch angerechnet wird, und zwar ohne grosse buerokratische huerden (eigenen prof suchen, mit czubera abchecken, etc).
